A hidden gem on the Chinese border - a spectacular canyon with a turquoise glacial lake surrounded by red rock formations. The dramatic combination of red rock, clear blue water, and eternal snow creates an almost surreal beauty.
A 15th-century stone caravanserai hidden in a remote mountain valley, once a crucial resting point along the Silk Road. This well-preserved stone fortress was built as protection against bandits and the harsh climate.
